To enhance the communication and execution capabilities of the Student Association (hereinafter referred to as CA), student clubs, and departmental student councils, our office held a training workshop on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Classroom 1C of the Teaching Building. The event featured a special lecture by social media expert Mr. Liang Ting-Bang, who shared insights on how to utilize the latest popular AI tools to optimize social media management and build marketing strategies, thereby helping student leaders plan events more effectively and improve event outcomes.
In his opening remarks, Dean Huang of Student Affairs praised the CA for its outstanding performance in various activities last semester. He encouraged the CA, student clubs, and departmental councils to continue demonstrating teamwork and actively plan upcoming events, including the Musical Awards, the CA election, the graduation farewell party, and weekly club sessions. He expressed his hope that all attending students would work together to further improve campus events and foster a more vibrant campus atmosphere.
During the keynote speech, Mr. Liang emphasized that the key to successful social media management lies in both the quality and quantity of traffic, as well as balancing exposure and engagement while accurately understanding audience needs. He shared how to use keyword tools (such as Google Trends and Logicball) to increase social media influence and stay informed on trending online topics. Additionally, he demonstrated how AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Suno, and Vidu) can enhance content creation efficiency and quality, making event promotion more appealing.
Following the keynote, the workshop transitioned into breakout discussion sessions. Participants were divided into two groups based on their roles: “CA Officers” and “Club Presidents & Department Council Leaders.” These sessions focused on administrative briefings and discussions aimed at fostering consensus and strengthening organizational effectiveness.
Through this workshop, student leaders not only gained valuable insights into current trends in social media management but also developed greater confidence and planning skills. It is hoped that they will apply what they have learned to actively organize various on- and off-campus events, collectively building a more energetic and dynamic CPU campus.
