Theme of 2012 clubs recruiting event was "This time! Mark Polo travels around the world!!" Its content included "country's exhibition", "clubs carnivals", "travel around the world", "four oceans are one", "favorite countries". The activity was held in the roman plaza, and the opening ceremony was held by Vice president Chuang. By giving the treasure maps to the first-year exchange students , a concept of union was delivered. The map also represented the variety and richness of our school's clubs which expected all the freshmen to discover.

There were performances from zither club, classical Chinese music club, Tzu Chi Youth club, guitar club, popular music club, modern dance club, light and salt club, and wind band. Even though the weather was bad with a heavy rain, everyone didn't lose their passion. President Hsieh took time to visit every stand and interacted with students passionately and cheerfully. This whole activity not only introduced various clubs to the freshmen but also gave them a chance to express its features and enthusiasm so as to recruit new members.
