The 115 Academic Year Student Club Recruitment Exhibition was held on the evening of September 15 at the Gymnasium under the theme “Reload: Rediscover Your Passion—Let the Light of Youth Shine.” The event served as the first stop for new students as they explored the diverse world of student clubs at Central Police University (CPU). Dean of Student Affairs opened the event by striking the gong and delivering welcoming remarks, officially welcoming the new students to the CPU family. He also encouraged students to explore their interests and passions through student clubs beyond their demanding academic and training schedules, adding new colors to their college lives.
A total of 32 student clubs, 7 university training teams, and the Wind Band participated in this year’s exhibition. Each participating group showcased its unique features through booth displays, interactive activities, and exciting performances, introducing new students to the diverse and vibrant club life on campus. In addition to dynamic performances by the Wind Band, Chinese Orchestra, Guzheng & Qin Club, Guitar Club, Rock Music Club, Hip-Hop Research Club, and Dance Club, the event provided new students with opportunities to interact with student clubs and university training teams up close. From physical fitness and competitive activities to artistic creation and musical performances, students were able to explore a wide range of interests and discover areas they may wish to pursue.
This year’s theme, “Reload,” symbolized the beginning of a new chapter in life as new students entered CPU. “Rediscover Your Passion” encouraged every student to step beyond familiar boundaries, explore themselves, and discover new interests. The event also featured a special “Youth Stamp Collection” activity, in which student clubs were divided into three major categories. New students could visit different booths, participate in interactive experiences, and collect exclusive stamps from each club. Through this process of exploring the many possibilities offered by student clubs, they could also create lasting memories and leave their own marks on their college years.
Student clubs are more than simply recreational activities outside of academic studies and training. They also provide important opportunities for students to develop teamwork, communication and coordination skills, leadership abilities, and additional areas of expertise. Through the Student Club Recruitment Exhibition, it is hoped that new students will find a stage that suits them amid their busy lives at CPU, allowing their interests to enrich their daily lives and their passion to become a driving force for moving forward. At CPU, may every student begin their own unique chapter of youth, “reload” their direction, and let the light of their youth shine in their own way!
