48th & 49th Club Association Handover Ceremony
On Thursday, June 5, 2025, Room 1A was filled with joy and excitement as the 48th & 49th Club Association Handover Ceremony was grandly held! The event was personally hosted by Dean of Student Affairs Huang Hao-Chih, who witnessed the symbolic passing of the torch between the two terms.
The ceremony began with Dean Huang presenting commemorative plaques to all senior officers of the 48th Club Association in recognition of their dedicated service throughout their term. Outgoing Secretary-General Jian Yu-Chen reflected on his journey in his farewell remarks:
“It feels like just yesterday I received the baton from my senior in the 47th term, and now it’s already my turn to pass it on! Over the past year, together with all of you, we have tackled various events and challenges—such as the Torch Night, the annual ball, and many others. Though there were moments of difficulty and setbacks, thanks to the support from the Extracurricular Activities Section, the advisors, and all my teammates, we were able to complete one challenge after another.”
Following this, Dean Huang officially presented the certificates of appointment to the newly elected Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General of the 49th term. New Secretary-General Huang Jen-Chien then introduced each department and division officer, expressing his hopes that in the year ahead, the 49th Club Association will work as one to meet all challenges and achieve results they can be proud of.
In his closing remarks, Dean Huang encouraged the 49th Club Association to build upon the strong foundation laid by their predecessors, continue to enliven campus life, and strengthen club operations, all in the spirit of creating a vibrant and dynamic student community.
This handover ceremony was not merely the passing of responsibilities—it was the continuation of the enduring spirit of the Club Association.
